PROGRAM ACTIVITIES

Respo International aims to develop, educate and implement knowledge that can help people with a physical or mental disability in third world countries. To achieve these goals, Respo uses the following program activities for all of its projects:

Developing an activity manual

Within each individual project, Respo sets up a standard approach, based on the experiences gained during that particular project. This activity manual can be used for further initiatives, both by Respo, as well as by local organisations.

Educating at bachelor level

A minor education packet focusing on sports and disability will be started at Windesheim, School of Human Movement & Sports in the Netherlands.

Research

Co-operating with several universities world-wide, Respo is researching the possibilities surrounding intervening with sports and movement activities for people with a disability in third world countries.
